Fixed Slide-In Contact Form Free Divi Layout
I had some requests for this layout from our Academy Club Members, but thought I would make it free to everyone
You can choose left or right alignment and the form will stick to the bottom on mobile.
This layout uses the new(ish) Divi hooks to add the library layout to every page, so you will need to be using a child theme as there is a little code that needs including in functions.php.
Be sure to view the ‘Read Me’ file in the download package for full instructions.

Awesome guide!
Is it possible to make the form automatically slide in after x seconds?
Hello Michelle,
thanks for y very good howto and the introduction about Divi.
cheers
Manuel
oh, I did not do it correct. Works now. My footer.php was causing the issue.
amazing recipe Michelle. I am guessing this tweak only works with divi!
It does it it’s current form, but its a method you can apply to any site
Your contact form doesn’t work on the home page.
I’ve tested this on both my websites. http://rodrigo.mediaberry.co and http://meta-com.be.
It works fine for me. You may have to ensure the jQuery library is loaded on those pages and if not add it
Awesome!!! Brilliant as always Michelle. Thx you for sharing.
Does the .json file go into the divi library?
No, page layout. Import into a page
It was a bit technical description for me , can you please help me in simple terms how to do the same step by step .
We have really made it as simple as we can. If it is beyond your skillset I would suggest hiring a developer to help.
Please disregard my previous post. I’ve figured it out.
Love this recipe, thanks. Only problem is I now need to edit it and can’t seem to do it. I’ve tried editing the module on the page that I used to create it, but that didn’t work.
It’s a very good tip.
Amazing and a very nice recipe.
Many thanks Michelle.
Thanks Michelle! Amazing tutorial again that we can add to our arsenal! I hope you’ll continue to support the community.. Cheers!
Brilliant, thanks so much Michelle for creating & providing this – added it to my site already
Great stuff!! Many thanks!
You must be prescient. Nearly every time I am looking for something you have already provided the answer. Thank you!
Looks very useful to me
Wow Michelle! Awesome as always. Thanks for this recipe
Hello
I am not using child theme. So how can i use this…..???
Well you can’t really, because if you add it to Divi’s functions.php, it will be wiped as soon as you update.
Simple: Start using a Child theme. You don’t need to use one that someone else is selling. Make your own. It’s super easy and will open up a whole world of tweaks, and it won’t impact the look or function of your site at all unless you want it to.
Hello Chad,
it there any tutorial to make a child theme…
Actually i had not made ever.
If the question is about adding functions you just need a php functions plugin. 100% safe !
Amazing! Great joob. Thanks for your sharing
Nice! Thank you.
Very neat and will be very useful too – I can see this being used on a lot of sites. Thank you as always.
Welcome Brian
Fantastic idea. That’s what sets you apart from everyone else. Keep it up!
Thanks so much Eric
Very nice! Thank you for sharing.
