Combined Slider & Blurbs with Navigation Free Divi Layout.
This free Divi layout uses the native Divi fullwidth slider and blurb modules in a very unique way. Completely restyling and repositioning the slider dot navigation so it sits over the blurb module and changes opacity when the relevant slide is active.

Hi there! Love this tutorial. I wish to add a border around the entire blurb module – when I do this in the usual blurb settings, it does not include the button. Can you advise how I can get the border to go underneath the button as well as the blurb module? Link to example below. Thanks!
You would need to add it to the columns in the advanced tab of the row settings, or if you want the same border for them all, you can use this CSS (adjust the weight, style, and color as desired):
.ds-advent-21 .et_pb_column {
display: -webkit-box;
border: 2px solid #000;
}
Thank you Shay
Hi again, I can’t import the layout due to this error:
“This file cannot be imported. It may be caused by file_uploads being disabled in your php.ini. It may also be caused by post_max_size or/and upload_max_filesize being smaller than file selected. Please increase it or transfer more substantial data at the time.”
It weird, because the file is less than 2mb. Some plugins and files I use are way bigger than that. Any idea?
P.D.: I’m using the last version of Divi Theme and Divi Builder
You need to contact your host for assistance with that
Thanks Michelle!!! I love this and all your ‘recipes’. My problem is that all changes I make in Child Theme’s CSS doesn’t work. It seems wp or divi aren’t fetching my child theme. Yes, it is active! This is what I did: 1. Generated and downloaded the child theme in https://elegantmarketplace.com/child-theme-maker/ 2. Uploaded to my WP via themes/appearance/add new… then activated 3. Make changes in style.css via themes/appearance/editor and saved. 4. Went to my site and refresh it. 5. Got stressed! Anyway, I had follow your recipes, but introducing the changes via Theme Customizer/Additional CSS or Divi/Theme Options/Custom CSS. But… Read more »
As long as your child theme’s functions.php starts with the following, you should be OK. Keep in mind you may need to clear caches at your host, installed on the site, and/or in the Divi > Theme Options > Builder.
I love this amazing work, great idea
